Business Operations Specialist/Portfolio Administrator

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive, full-time Business Operation Specialist/Portfolio Administrator who will be responsible for implementing client accounts and responsible for maintaining our internal systems. We are looking for a self-starter/team player who is energetic, proactive, hard-working and humble; along with being flexible, resourceful and efficient. They must demonstrate a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential information.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Business Operations Specialist
    • Update internal systems
    • Set up clients via our internal portal
    • Client reporting
  • Portfolio Administrator
    • Responsible for reconciliation and allocation of trades
    • Daily account maintenance, investing cash additions and generating cash for withdrawals
    • Implement new client portfolios
    • Process client trade requests
    • Place block trades based on model updates from the investment team


  • 2-3 years of Operations/Client Service experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficient with MS Excel
  • Tamarac Reporting, CRM and Rebalancer experience a plus
  • An unrelenting work ethic and stellar communication abilities
  • Ability to work independently but also be a proactive contributing team member
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to follow through on projects effectively and multitask
  • Strong desire to learn and contribute in a team-oriented environment
  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing priorities
  • A drive to succeed
