As Chief Growth Officer, Alex is responsible for developing and implementing strategies designed to responsibly scale the firm, while ensuring we maintain our high standard in customer service and client experience.
Alex has worked in many different capacities in the investment advisory industry since 2001. Prior to joining Summitry, he developed strategic growth initiatives for both the Wealth Management business and the Mortgage Banking business at Opes Advisors, where he also served on its Investment Policy Committee and was a member of their Executive Vision Team, helping to set overall strategic direction for the firm. Before Opes, Alex spent eleven years at Fisher Investments in a variety of roles, including Group Vice President of Private Client Group Sales, Group Vice President of Trading and Investment Operations, and Group Vice President of Research.
Alex lives in Los Altos, with his wife, Katherine, their two daughters and their German Shepherd/Husky mix, Crockett. Alex enjoys road cycling, skiing, trail running, hiking with the family, kayaking, watching/coaching his daughters’ sports teams and just about anything else outdoors.
