About Lisa
Lisa joined Summitry in 2020 as Office Administrator. Prior to joining Summitry, Lisa gained work experience in education while teaching English in Japan. She graduated from the University of California, Davis with a Bachelor of Science in Human Development.
Lisa resides in San Mateo with her family and dog, Chloe. She enjoys spending time with friends, exploring new walking/hiking trails, and watching sporting events.
Q & A
Discuss a personal accomplishment that you’re particularly proud of.
Moving to Japan shortly after graduating college was my greatest accomplishment. Though I did not (and still don’t) speak or understand the language, I was able to navigate the country’s public transportation system, food menus, and miscellaneous forms/documents. Having to push myself to get out of my comfort zone, saying ‘yes’ to almost any opportunity, and taking in all that Japan had to offer allowed me to learn more about myself and grow as a person.
What are your favorite pursuits outside of work?
I love to go walking/hiking with friends and family, have picnics in the park, and complete DIY projects throughout the house. My latest DIY project was making two coasters using resin and trinkets I brought back from Japan.
