About Daniel

Daniel joined Summitry as a Financial Advisor. He provides advisory and planning support to the firm’s advisors to create comprehensive financial plans for our clients. Daniel is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.

Prior to joining Summitry, Daniel worked as a Financial Planner at a firm in San Ramon, CA. While there, he created comprehensive financial plans for clients, co-managed investment plans for foundations, and worked with ERISA retirement plans in the Bay Area.

Daniel is originally from South Bend, Indiana and moved to the Bay Area in 2010. He lived on the Peninsula for 11 years before moving to San Ramon in 2021 with his wife and daughter. He loves basketball, cooking, going on adventures, and spending time with family.

What drew me to the Bay Area?

Family, weather, and opportunity. The Bay Area is innovative and I enjoy the opportunity to work with like-minded, intelligent people, which is what inspired me to move out here. The weather is also important to me since I grew up in northern Indiana and the winters can drag on for months.
If you volunteer for a charity, which one(s) and why?

Boys & Girls Club of the Peninsula and Hidden Villa. I believe that access and empowerment are important for children and families.

I have an eye for detail and am tenacious in my work. It is my job is to take things off your plate and help you make informed decisions to achieve your short and long-term financial goals.
