Chris is Summitry’s Director of Technology & Data, responsible for the firm’s technology strategy, systems architecture, and data governance. Partnering closely with Summitry’s leadership on strategic planning, he leads firm-wide workflow design, change management, and vendor relationships to improve operational efficiency and cross-team collaboration while supporting the firm’s long-term technology strategy.
Prior to joining Summitry, Chris spent over 20 years building and leading technology, operations, and data functions across RIAs, TAMPs, broker-dealers, and WealthTech firms. Most recently, as Fractional CTO and Senior Manager at F2 Strategy, he guided wealth management firms through major platform transformations and M&A activity. At LPL Financial, he led the advisor continuous improvement and technology enablement function for the firm’s national advisor network, and at First Republic Private Wealth Management, he owned the technology strategy and roadmap for a wealth platform serving 300+ advisors and support staff, including trading and rebalancing system migrations and technology integration.
Chris grew up in Southern California and holds an MBA from Saint Mary’s College of California in Moraga, along with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Redlands. He lives in Danville with his wife and their two sons. Outside of work, Chris cherishes time with his family, from volunteering with his kid’s youth sports to deep sea fishing with his boys in Morro Bay and getting outdoors. He’s also a devoted college football fan and a die-hard follower of the San Jose Sharks.
