About Matteo

Matteo is a Client Service Specialist at Summitry, where he supports the Operations Team with outstanding client service and effective internal communication.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Commerce with an Economics major and concentration in Data Analysis from Santa Clara University’s Leavey School of Business. Before joining Summitry, Matteo gained experience in both corporate and regulatory finance, working at Ford Motor Credit Company and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

A Bay Area native, Matteo enjoys traveling, playing spikeball and pickleball, and exploring the outdoors with friends and family.

What are your favorite pursuits outside of work?

Outside of work, I enjoy heading to the pickleball courts, the beach, or a patch of grass to play spikeball with friends. I also love traveling both within California and abroad, exploring new cultures, trying out new recipes in the kitchen, and connecting with new people across the Bay Area.
Share a personal accomplishment that you’re particularly proud of.

Studying abroad in San Sebastián, Spain was a life-changing experience that challenged me to step outside my comfort zone, embrace new perspectives, and ignite a passion for travel and adventure, all while creating lasting memories and friendships.
If you volunteer for a charity, which one(s) and why?

I’ve been a volunteer with the American Red Cross for several years, from supporting blood drives to helping with other community relief and preparedness efforts. It’s been a rewarding experience contributing to their mission of helping people in times of need, and one I look forward to continuing.
