We are so touched by all the support we’ve received since launching our response to COVID-19! In just a week, because of generous donations from our team of clients, partners and Summiteers, we are almost halfway to our goal of raising $25,000 for LifeMoves and Meals on Wheels, as they battle the impact of COVID-19 across the Bay Area. As a reminder, Summitry will also match donations to these organizations up to a total of $25,000 from our firm’s Donor-Advised Fund.
Tiffany Lessler, our Talent Manager, summed it up best when she shared this message on LinkedIn:
Lately, I have been reflecting a lot on the value of community and how important it is to be surrounded by people that care about you, especially when you’re going through tough times. I’ve experienced this firsthand through my own life challenges. During this time, a lot of us are fortunate enough to have the technology and time to virtually connect with friends and family. However, there are many who don’t share the same access (especially seniors living alone and those who have lost jobs and homes due to the impact of COVID-19). If you have the means and desire to help contribute to these Bay Area causes below, I’m proud to share that our firm is matching donations up to $25K! Every dollar counts, but your care and support mean the most.
If you have already donated, thank you! If not, please consider joining us to amplify our impact by donating to any, or all, of these worthy causes. Any amount makes a real difference. To ensure that your donation is matched by Summitry, please donate here. Donations will be matched through 5/3/20.
About Summitry Cares
Summitry Cares, led by a committee of dedicated employees, was formed in 2012 to mobilize and support employee volunteerism and giving, as well as to manage Summitry’s Donor-Advised Fund. The Fund is managed as an endowment and provides annual grants to 501(c)(3) organizations with whom Summitry has formed meaningful relationships and who are making significant impacts in the Bay Area community and beyond.
