Tiffany Lessler, FPQP®

Director of Talent

About Tiffany

Tiffany is the Director of Talent at Summitry, where she leads recruitment, onboarding, and the full arc of the employee experience, building the systems and relationships that keep Summitry’s culture strong as the firm grows. She believes a candidate’s experience with Summitry should feel intentional from the very first conversation, and she carries that same care through onboarding and into every stage of an employee’s time at the firm.

As a member of the Leadership team and a champion of the Summitry brand, Tiffany partners closely with fellow leaders to protect and evolve the firm’s culture around its core values (care, grow, and drive), including through frameworks like the Summitry Loop that help translate those values into everyday practice.

Prior to joining Summitry in 2012, Tiffany earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from the University of California, Berkeley. She has worked in IT services and started her career in wealth management in 2008. She holds the Financial Planning Qualified Professional (FPQP™) designation and is a member of the College for Financial Planning Alumni Association.

Tiffany lives on the Peninsula with her husband and their daughter. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family, playing pickleball, baking, and getting lost in Korean dramas.

Q & A

  • What does “living your best Bay Area Life” mean to you?

Having the luxury of enjoying both the rural and suburban life, surrounded by our family and enjoying simple pleasures like experiencing new eateries nearby.
  • What are some of the challenges you face living in the Bay Area?

Rising home prices as we try to balance being able to afford having more children and all the college expenses that come along with that joyful responsibility of growing a family.
  • Discuss a personal accomplishment that you’re particularly proud of.

When I was in Thailand, I challenged myself to say “yes” to all new experiences. I actually lived that out and got to experience a lot of firsts: shooting a rifle, smoking a cigarette, eating pig’s blood, dog, rats, and drinking from a cup that was passed around from villager to villager (significant since I am OCD about germs). The lesson I learned was being able to step out of my comfort zone and take new risks that I never thought I would be able to handle.
