About Gina

As a Financial Advisor Assistant, Gina works with the Private Client Group and supports the advisory team in serving clients by providing operational and administrative support.

Gina graduated from Saint Mary’s College of California with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and a minor in French in 2018. Prior to joining Summitry in December 2020, she worked in executive administrative roles in the legal and higher education industries.

Gina is a champion Irish dancer and has competed at the regional, national and world championships. In 2017, Gina and her team won silver medals at the World Irish Dance Championships in Dublin, Ireland.

Gina is from the Bay Area and currently resides in Pacifica.

Q & A

What are your favorite pursuits outside of work?

Irish dancing will always be my favorite pursuit. I have been an Irish dancer since 2002, and I love it more and more as the years go on. I love everything about it; the rhythm and sound, the culture, the music, the dresses. It’s a complex art form that is constantly evolving and always presents a challenge. It has taught me persistence, resilience, and independence. I’ve had the privilege of competing around the United States and in Ireland. Once I decide to retire as a competitor, I will finish my teacher certification and continue Irish dance through teaching. This pursuit is lifelong.
What does “living your best Bay Area Life” mean to you?

“Living your best Bay Area Life” means having the freedom to enjoy everything that the Bay Area has to offer. It means going to the beach, for example, because we are lucky to live right on the ocean. Having the ability to explore the Bay Area everyday is something to be thankful for, so “living your best Bay Area Life” also means having appreciation and perspective, despite the challenges that may occur. Even when I’m stuck in traffic on I-80 E on my way to the Bay Bridge, I look out my window at the view of the Financial District and think about how fortunate I am to live and be from here.
