About Gina

Gina is a Financial Advisor Assistant at Summitry. She primarily works with the Private Client Group, serving clients of the advisory team by providing operational and administrative support.

Prior to joining Summitry, Gina earned a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and a minor in French from Saint Mary’s College of California in 2018. She worked in executive administrative roles in the legal and higher education industries until she joined Summitry in 2020.

Gina is a Bay Area native and currently resides in Pacifica. She enjoys Irish dancing and is a champion Irish dancer. She has competed at the regional, national and world championships. In 2017, Gina and her team won silver medals at the World Irish Dance Championships in Dublin, Ireland.

Q & A

What are your favorite pursuits outside of work?

Irish dancing will always be my favorite pursuit. I have been an Irish dancer since 2002, and I love it more and more as the years go on. I love everything about it; the rhythm and sound, the culture, the music, the dresses. It’s a complex art form that is constantly evolving and always presents a challenge. It has taught me persistence, resilience, and independence. I’ve had the privilege of competing around the United States and in Ireland. Once I decide to retire as a competitor, I will finish my teacher certification and continue Irish dance through teaching. This pursuit is lifelong.
What does “living your best Bay Area Life” mean to you?

“Living your best Bay Area Life” means having the freedom to enjoy everything that the Bay Area has to offer. It means going to the beach, for example, because we are lucky to live right on the ocean. Having the ability to explore the Bay Area everyday is something to be thankful for, so “living your best Bay Area Life” also means having appreciation and perspective, despite the challenges that may occur. Even when I’m stuck in traffic on I-80 E on my way to the Bay Bridge, I look out my window at the view of the Financial District and think about how fortunate I am to live and be from here.
