Allison Uozumi

Financial Advisor Assistant

About Allison

Allison is a Financial Advisor Assistant at Summitry. She primarily works with the Private Client Group, providing advisory support, client service, and financial planning support.

Prior to joining Summitry full-time, Allison earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance with a minor in Sustainability from San Diego State University. She previously interned at Summitry in both the summer of 2024 and the spring of 2025, working rotationally across departments and supporting various marketing initiatives. Allison is launching her career after continuing her studies in Rome, Italy, where she further developed her interest in global finance and embraced the arts. She brings perspective, strong communication skills, and a thoughtful, client-first approach to every interaction – ready to problem-solve and create value for clients in various financial situations.

Born and raised in the Bay Area, Allison always knew she’d return after college to give back to the community that shaped her. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active outdoors – whether it’s beach walks in Half Moon Bay, skiing in Tahoe, hiking, running, or practicing yoga. She also loves sketching, cooking, and exploring farmers’ markets and is passionate about interior design and biohacking. Most of all, she enjoys spending time with her Australian Shepherd, Marleau, and her cat, Gordie.

Q & A

  • What are your favorite pursuits outside of work?

Outside of work, I enjoy anything outdoors- from paddle boarding to hiking- along with spending quality time with friends and family. I'm also passionate about learning more about biohacking and women’s health, sketching, and all things organization and design.
  • If you volunteer for a charity, which one(s) and why?

I’ve been volunteering with the San Diego Humane Society as a foster for kittens, from newborns to more mature cats, for the past few years. It’s been incredibly rewarding, and I hope to continue my work with the Peninsula Humane Society.
  • Discuss a personal accomplishment that you’re particularly proud of.

I'm especially proud of being named the Outstanding Student for the Department of Finance at SDSU. It reflected years of dedication and was a reminder that hard work, curiosity, and community support really do pay off.
