Taya Cowan is an Associate Financial Advisor at Summitry, where she partners directly with clients and supports the Private Client Group by providing advisory and planning support to the firm’s Financial Advisors.
Taya earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard University, where she concentrated in Sociology and Economics. She began her career in digital marketing before pivoting to financial services, driven by a commitment to helping families build and preserve generational wealth. She previously served as a Financial Advisor at Edward Jones and Northwestern Mutual, where she worked with high-net-worth families across the Bay Area and clients nationwide. Taya has been in the financial services industry since 2021. Outside of work, Taya enjoys traveling, exploring new hobbies, and cooking for friends and family.
