About Elijah

Elijah is an Associate Financial Advisor at Summitry. He works hands-on with clients and supports the Private Client Group, providing advisory support, client service, and financial planning support.

Before joining Summitry, Elijah earned his Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Advertising from Grand Canyon University. He began his career as a freelance copywriter, helping small businesses strengthen client relationships and improve retention. Through conversations with professionals in the financial industry, Elijah discovered a growing interest in the markets and the impact thoughtful financial advice can have on people’s lives. In 2023, Elijah began his career in wealth management with a broker-dealer in Southern California, where he built relationships with a diverse group of clients.

Originally from Los Angeles County, Elijah is excited to experience the natural beauty and opportunities the Bay Area has to offer. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors camping, fishing, and hiking. A former competitive goalkeeper, Elijah continues to challenge himself athletically through weightlifting competitions and recreational soccer.

Q & A

  • What drew you to the Bay Area?

What drew me to the Bay Area is the opportunity to meet like-minded people who are looking to grow themselves both professionally and in their personal lives. The weather in the Bay Area is rivaled by very few, and its access to National Parks. It’s hard for Bay Area natives not to smile when talking about their childhood, and I want to experience all the opportunities the Bay Area has to offer its residents.
  • Share a personal accomplishment that you’re particularly proud of.

A personal accomplishment that I’m proud of is that I was nationally ranked as a goalkeeper during my soccer career and was the goalkeeper with the fewest goals conceded in my last season in California.
  • If you volunteer for a charity, which one(s) and why?

I have volunteered at my local church’s annual fair and at a dog rescue for small dogs. I volunteered at my church's annual fair because I wanted to get closer to my community and meet new people. I volunteered at the dog rescue for small dogs because I have always had a love for dogs my entire life, and I wanted to make sure these dogs would have the best opportunity to get adopted into a loving home.
